People on the internet were enthralled with a video of the award-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known online as Wizkid, laughing so much during his mother’s funeral.
Since his biological mother, Mrs. Balogun, passed away on August 18, 2023, Wizkid has been in a state of mourning.
Since arriving in Lagos, Wizkid has experienced a range of emotions, including the candlelight parade, the Wake Keep Service, when the singer finds it difficult to contain his tears, and yesterday, October 13, 2023, when his mother was laid to rest.
However, Wizkid mum’s burial party was held yesterday night and it was absolutely a star-studded one as it was graced by big names that include, Tony Eluemelu, Oba Elegushi, K1 De Ultimate.
Others present include, Banky W, Eniola Badmus, PSquare, Osas Ighodaro, Wande Coal, Pretty Mike, Davido manager Asa Asika, Ghanaian singer Isaac Promise, D’Banj and others.
After Wizkid makes headlines by making money rains on K1 De Ultimate, a video of Wizkid effortlessly beaming with so much joy with Oba Elegushi can’t be left without talking.
The duo smiles contagiously, forgot about the camera as Wizkid could be seen dragging the king in an environment that oozes absolutely positive energy. Watch video below;
