Nevertheless, it was reported that Tony passed away while being transported to the hospital by supporters after collapsing from blood loss as a result of the stab wound.
The insider went on to say that Tony, who was married to someone else, moved in with the girlfriend who fatally stabbed him instead of his wife, with whom he had a falling out in Enugu.
According to the source, Tony and his girlfriend got into a fight that fatal night after they had a disagreement. According to sources, Tony had been abusing the woman for a while, and this time, I believe the woman tried to defend herself by stabbing Tony in the neck.
No one was willing to break up their battle, so they continued and dragged themselves onto the street. Tony eventually lost a lot of blood from his wound and collapsed. He lost consciousness on the route to the hospital after being taken in an ambulance, and he passed away before they arrived.
“I’ve also heard that he and his wife in Enugu are going through a protracted divorce process, possibly as a result of domestic abuse-related issues.”
Grace Iringe-Koko, the public relations officer for the Rivers Police, verified the occurrence when called and emphasized that the suspect had been detained and would face charges as soon as the inquiry was over.
“The event took place. The suspect is being investigated while being held by the police. As soon as the inquiry is finished, she will face charges, Iringe-Koko declared.
