Lionel Messi will re-join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the new year, according to Christophe Galtier, the team’s manager. Following the FIFA World Cup victory, the Argentine is now in his native country and is anticipated to return when the Ligue 1 team plays Lens at the beginning of 2023.
Messi has been in Qatar for the previous several weeks for the FIFA World Cup, winning the tournament by defeating Kylian Mbappe’s France. While the Frenchman has resumed training, the former Barcelona star is enjoying the victory in his native country.
Messi will be sidelined for an extra 10 to 11 days before rejoining the team, according to Galtier, who spoke at a news conference prior to PSG’s game against Strasbourg on Wednesday.

He declared:

He confirmed that the forward had been given a respite through January 1, 2023 in his remarks concerning the Argentine. He declared:
“Leo (Lionel Messi) will join us at the beginning of the year in ten or eleven days due to his location and triumph. We will reintegrate it as we go.
