Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress and box office queen, has thanked the team for empowering 175 members.
She celebrated the crew members’ nine weeks of nonstop work in bringing her new film, Everybody Loves Jenifa, to life on her Instagram page by posting a snapshot of them.
She declared that the film is a self-funded endeavor and expressed her gratitude for having given a group of gifted people—of whom 95% are young people—the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.

She gave a special shout-out to her Nigerian and Ghanaian crew members who collaborated seamlessly to make it happen. Funke noted how she believes in empowering and giving the next generation opportunities.
“Proud moment! I want to celebrate the incredible 175 crew members who worked tirelessly for nine weeks to bring ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ to life! As a self-funded project, I’m honoured to have empowered a team of talented individuals, with 95% of them being young people, to showcase their skills.
