In Dan-Umaru village, Bena District, Kebbi State, on Monday, four bandits targeted a single person. Local security officers, popularly known as Vigilantes, murdered the criminals.
This was revealed in a statement issued the media on Monday in Birnin Kebbi by Ahmed Idris, the State Governor’s chief press secretary.
Idris cited Abdul Rahman Usman, Director of Security at the Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, as revealing the success story.

He claimed that when the bandits attacked a community close to Dan-Umaru that borders Dadin Duniya in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara state, the vigilantes took up positions and defeated them.
He continued by saying that the sufferer is currently doing well under treatment at an unnamed facility.
He declared, “The vigilante swiftly took position, ambushed the bandits, and murdered all four of them as they were making their way back to Zamfara State when they launched an attack on the hamlet.
“The deceased were brought to the village of Dan-Umaru. The incident happened in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, close to Dan-Umaru, which borders Dadin Duniya.
