By their high standards, the Bundesliga’s juggernauts have had a nightmare start to the regular season with three draws and one loss after only seven games. Mane, the forward, had again another miserable afternoon, carrying on his terrible form from before his summer transfer from Liverpool for £27.5 million.

Mané is such a terrible football player, said one Twitter user, calling for his deportation to China. Need to move this player to Guanghzou Tigers in January.

One more wrote on Twitter: “As a fan of this team, I have never seen an attacking player as terrible on the ball as Sadio Mane. He is incapable of dribbling, linking with teammates, or staying onside for dear life. A ridiculous football player.

“Big error to get him,” a third person chimed in. Next summer, you should really think about selling him to find a good striker. He is unfit for Bayern because he is neither a winger nor a striker.

One person remarked, “Mane finally getting exposed? has always played the system.

The Senegalese star has received severe criticism, but this season, Bayern’s midfield and offense have had trouble getting going under Julian Nagelsmann. This is in spite of Mane scoring three goals in three victories to start the season back in August.

However, his one shot on target and Augsburg’s 13 times in which possession was ceded to them sum up his and Bayern’s current struggles. Nagelsmann will be hoping to get Mane back on track against Bayer Leverkusen in the upcoming match as the German manager’s own position is being called into doubt.
