After many heated exchanges this morning at Carrighton, ten Hag made it obvious to the five-time winner of the Balon d’Or that leaving the field and the stadium before the game was over was actually disrespectful to the team and the players.

Ronaldo allegedly became enraged by the fact that he wasn’t put on the field or, even better, asked to warm up twice without getting on the field, and he didn’t simply head for the tunnel; he even departed the stadium before everyone else.

As a kind of retribution, Erik ten Hag has informed Cristiano Ronaldo that he will not be playing this weekend when Manchester United takes on Chelsea.

The 37-year-old would appear to be actively seeking a transfer before the January transfer window opens since he may no longer want to play for United under ten Hag.

Man United prevented Ronaldo’s departure last summer after announcing in a press statement that they had plans for the former Real Madrid star and weren’t looking to sell him. However, with events taking an abrupt change, it’s clear that Ronaldo will leave Old Trafford before January.
