Since getting married a few weeks ago, Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his new bride Mariam haven’t been seen in public.

According to Gossipinfo, the pair attended the traditional Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Saturday while dressed entirely in white. Mariam Anakao, the new Yeyeluwa of Ife, was observed conversing with the monarch during the entire ceremony as several groups paid respects to the Ooni.

Rauf Aregbesola, the interior minister, and Benedict Alabi, the deputy governor of Osun State, among others, were also in attendance.

On September 6, the palace welcomed the new queen, an executive in the oil and gas industry.

Following the dissolution of his marriage to Evangelist Silekunola Naomi, Ooni took a new wife.

Mariam is from Ebira ethnic group in Kogi State. She works at Nestoil Limited, an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning company in the oil and gas sector.

She lost her father at a young age and was reportedly brought up in the home of the former inspector general of police Mohammed Abubakar. Her mother is a retired police officer.

Gossipinfo news recall that only 24 hours after taking in a new bride, Mariam Anako, recent sources suggest that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has decided to take another woman as a second wife.

According to Gossipinfo, on September 7th, following the conclusion of their wedding rites, the Ooni officially welcomed Mariam Anako into the palace. Videos of the event quickly went viral on social media.

Currently, it is known that on Wednesday, a group of Chiefs from the Palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State, paid a visit to Dr. Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda’s family in the Magodo neighborhood of Lagos

According to Leadership, Miss Akinmuda is a Scotland-based Electronic Data Processor and a native of Ondo City in Ondo State.
