Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, a well-known media figure, and Benedicta Elechi, his longtime partner, got married.
In a secret ceremony, the couple exchanged vows in London, United Kingdom.
In the meantime, Daddy Freeze, whose marriage to Opeyemi ended in 2014, has claimed that he didn’t fail in his first marriage but rather that he was successful in separating himself from toxic relationships.

In a post shared via his Instagram page, Daddy Freeeze stated that anyone who walks out of a marriage isn’t a failure but a success.
According to him, those who failed in marriage are the ones who couldn’t come out of it alive.
“If anyone discriminates against you as a divorcee, stand up to them, beat your chest and say: I didn’t fail at marriage; instead I succeeded in divorcing myself from toxicity. Those who actually failed in marriage are the ones who couldn’t make it out alive! If you made it out of suffering alive, you are a success, NOT a failure! ~FRZ”, he wrote.
His wife’s ex husband, Paul Odekina had dragged the media personality to court for having affair with his then wife and welcoming a child with her.
A Port Harcourt High Court had ordered the controversial OAP, to pay the sum of N5 million for committing adultery with his lover Benedicta Elechi while she was still married to her former husband, Paul Odekina.
Justice Akpughunum ordered Daddy Freeze to pay the money to Paul Odekina who was legally married to Elechi at the time of the incident.
Listed in the suit with no PHC/403MC/2012 are Benedicta Odekina nee Elechi as the petitioner and cross petitioner, Mr Odekina as first respondent and cross petitioner and Mr Olarinde (Daddy Freeze) as the co-respondent.
Hon Justice Akpughunum in a judgment which lasted more than 1.30min, ruled that Benedicta’s husband proved his case of adultery against Daddy Freeze and Benedicta through photographic, documentary and electronic evidence and also by the admission of Benedicta Elechi herself. The Judge referred to Benedicta as a ‘self-acclaimed adulterer”, The Pulse reports.
Recall that Daddy Freeze was once married to Opeyemi Olarinde, but the couple parted ways over claims of domestic violence.
