Final Medal Table Revealed for the 2023 All African Games

Following the conclusion of the Games in Ghana on Saturday, the official medal standings for the 2023 All African Games have been released.

Egypt secures the top position on the medal table with an impressive total of 189 medals, comprising 101 gold, 46 silver, and 42 bronze.

In second place is Nigeria, boasting 120 medals in total, including 47 gold, 33 silver, and 40 bronze.

South Africa claims the third spot with 106 medals, consisting of 32 gold, 32 silver, and 42 bronze.

Rounding out the top five are Algeria with 114 medals (29 gold, 38 silver, and 47 bronze) and Tunisia with 87 medals (21 gold, 27 silver, and 39 bronze).

Host country Ghana secures sixth place in the final medal standings with 68 medals, including 19 gold, 29 silver, and 20 bronze.

Completing the top 10 in the standings are Morocco, Ethiopia, Mauritius, and Kenya.
