In a heartfelt message, Torres expressed his sadness over the loss of his father, José, saying, “I couldn’t end this sad day without thanking everyone from the bottom of my heart on behalf of my family and myself.”

He continued, “Many expressions of affection and respect towards the death of my father. Dad, I’ll always keep you present, I love you.”

Torres, who began his football journey at Atletico Madrid and currently manages the U-19 team, received messages of support from fans and his former club.
