When Fernandes finally shakes the striker’s hand quickly before whispering to Ronaldo, the forward, who had extended his arm for a handshake, doesn’t seem too happy about it. The offensive midfielder gives Ronaldo a friendly smile as he heads off to meet the other Portuguese players, but it appears like Fernandes had a message for his United No. 7 domestic teammate because the United No. 7 was left with a rather expressionless expression.

Ronaldo received a less than enthusiastic welcome from Fernandes after the latter spoke with Morgan on Talk TV and explained how he felt “betrayed” and “disrespected” by United.

The forward has so far attacked the Glazers, Erik ten Hag, Ralf Rangnick, Gary Neville, Wayne Rooney, and the club itself in what has truly been a bombshell interview. The full conversation is scheduled to air this week on Wednesday and Thursday.

In videos made public on Monday night, Ronaldo defended his decision to ignore Gary Neville ahead of the Premier League match against West Ham and criticized the Glazer family, who own Manchester United, for turning the team into a “marketing club.”

While some fans have supported Ronaldo on specific topics, many are upset that the Portuguese striker singled out Ten Hag after the latter refused to enter the field against Tottenham just a few weeks prior. Many jumped to Ronaldo’s side after seeing the video of Fernandes’ welcoming for him. Here are some comments made on Twitter:
