Even the famous footballer Neymar took part in the action. While the PSG attacker nervously awaited his name to be announced, viewers also saw how he reacted when Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli were chosen.

Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal was the first forward to be named to Tite’s 26-man squad, as you can see in the video below.

Martinelli’s name was then called a short while afterwards. “Brazil icon Neymar’s shocked reaction to Gabriel Martinelli being chosen in the Brazil World Cup roster this evening,” read a tweet from @afcstuff.

The following are some of the tweets Gossipinfo gathered in response to the video:

He is aware that his position is under risk, according to @TylerAFC__

He appeared astonished since he believed he was sacked by Dhayve, as stated by @Rrezon44.

He is aware that he must improve if he wants to avoid Martinelli benching him.

Neymar briefly believed that his position was in jeopardy, as stated by @Epmeralt.

That was the face of anxiety that he would lose his starting position, as @AlfieChadwick1 wrote.

Those were fearful eyes, not ones of astonishment, perhaps worry that he would not start, as @afcstuff stated.

🤷🏽‍♂️
Even when he stands up at the conclusion and rubs his head, the hairs on the side of his head stick up nervously.

A third admirer wrote: “Neymar was a bit startled that Martinelli was called but he decided to suppress the reaction knowing that he’s on camera. You can tell he was thrilled for Gabriel Jesus and surprised about Martinelli.” Everyone in the room was aware that Neymar was traveling to Qatar.

Before Tite made his statement, there was speculation that Martinelli wouldn’t make the team. The 26-man Brazil team was released by Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade on Monday morning without the 21-year-old forward; instead, Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino, who was left off of the final roster, was named.
