Following allegations of a fire incident at his Lagos house, well-known Nigerian comedian AY Makun informed his supporters and well-wishers that he and his family were safe and undamaged.
AY Makun recently released a statement in which he thanked his followers for their concern and support.
Online rumours about the fire had people worried for the comedian’s and his family’s safety.

He stressed the value of faith and family in hard times.
He wrote;
“Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few.”
He further assured everyone that he and his family had safely evacuated the premises and are out of harm’s way.
The comedian also shared his future plans, revealing that he intends to join his wife and children in the United States in a few days.
This decision appears to be a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of his family.
The fire incident had initially raised alarms as reports suggested that valuable properties worth millions had been destroyed in the blaze. However, AY Makun’s quick response and assurance have quelled fears and put the minds of his fans at ease.
