Femi Falana, a human rights attorney, has sworn to see to it that the soldier detained by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a traffic violation is brought to justice.
According to a Tuesday story in the Daily Post, Sanwo-Olu detained a few individuals who were riding one-way motorcycles on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
When the event happened on Tuesday, the governor was en route to the opening of the Femi Gbajabiamila Conference Centre at the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo campus.

When one of the criminals claimed to be a soldier, he may have believed that he would be set free, but the governor gave the security personnel orders to imprison him for that reason.
As security personnel dragged Sanwo-Olu away, he uttered the words, “Put him there, let your father come and rescue you.”
Additionally, Falana, who made an appearance on Channels Television on Wednesday, pointed out that the country’s military officers frequently believe they are beyond the law.
The same thing happened in the Wadume case, when a captain ordered soldiers to shoot three police officers who had come to apprehend a dangerous criminal.
Soldiers were even charged, but the case was withdrawn from the court so that the soldiers could try the accused. This was done by former Attorney General Malami. These individuals now hold promotions.
“Therefore, we have to govern a nation where equality before the law and the rule of law prevail, and I’m going to make sure that we put pressure on the human rights community to get the Lagos State Government to try that soldier.”
