The wife of Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday after sustaining severe burns after a struggle with her husband IVD. On social media, rumours began to surface that Mercy Eke was one of his side women from various perspectives.

Mercy Eke began a live video and broke down in tears after learning that she had been involved with IVD while the wife was still alive. She said, “They said I shouldn’t cry on this live, as you all refuse to let me rest, heaven will not let you rest. When you think you have peace, that’s when your problem will start, and sorrow will be your portion.”

What did she do to them, claimed Mercy Eke, who claimed that they were always ruining her reputation? She hasn’t seen something, though. Mercy stated that the claims are too much and that she is performing the live video for herself.

Mercy Eke disclosed that she would upload each video she makes everytime she visits IVD’s store, attaching each one so that people would realise she was not affiliated with IVD. She added that just because she stopped speaking with IVD doesn’t mean that everything is as it seems.

She explained how she had purchased a car from IVD, but it had broken down. She intended to confront him online, but his wife intervened on his behalf. In order for people to understand that her business with IVD was completely unrelated, she also provided the receipt for the car she purchased.

Mercy has stated that she should not achieve anything worthwhile in this life if she ever had a relationship with IVD that was separate from the commercial deal they had. What do you think about this?
