After his belligerent behavior in the draw with Crystal Palace, Darwin Nunez left many Liverpool supporters upset and unsurprisingly drew analogies to former player Luis Suarez.

Like his teammate currently faces, Luis Suarez was a figure of controversy throughout his time in England and experienced a few match suspensions due to unruly behavior.

The former Barcelona star, however, asserts that it is only natural for him to acknowledge the mistakes of his youth and the fact that, given the chance, he might have made different decisions.

Speaking about the incident that led to Darwin Nunez receiving a red card, Suarez said he spoke with the Uruguayan international right away.

The former Liverpool striker then counseled his colleague to learn from his errors rather than continuing making the same ones, particularly now that the Premier League is aware of his shortcoming.

According to Luis Suarez, England frequently takes trivial matters too seriously and exaggerates them to set a trend.

In a Telemundo interview, Suarez discussed the incident and his advice to Nunez.

Because he is only getting started and to let him know that going forward, his adversaries will seek him out twice as often or more.

He is hearing this from an idiot who makes mistakes and suffers as a result, especially in England, but I became stronger as a result of falling and rising again.

The situation will only worsen if you give them any more chances.

Darwin is a person who pays close attention. He is quite clever in that sense, and I believe he will attempt to salvage the situation by saying that it is not a huge issue because we have all made mistakes and been expelled.

The former Barcelona player continued, “The issue is that he’s only recently moved over there and, to put it mildly, they make a huge deal out of everything in England.”

Suarez was released by Atletico Madrid and is now playing for Nacional in his home country.

The player’s notoriety, particularly the incident with Patrice Evra and the world cup where he was caught biting Juventus great Giorgio Chiellini, was what made him most well-known during his time at Anfield.
