“Losing a loved one hits differently and words can’t explain the anguish that comes with the feeling,” Funnybone said with a portrait art photo of his late mother.

I recall the goose bumps I got hours before I was told you were gone, as if it were yesterday. I knew you were gone from the time I picked up the phone.

I’m still crying myself to sleep and inadvertently dialing your number. I miss our long phone calls every now and then. Our most recent discussion and the kind words you said to me from the bottom of your heart. You mentioned that I made you proud. You, on the other hand, simply vanished.

Although it has been two years, the grief is still present, and all I can do is pray to God to heal and console me. Because you aren’t here, a lot of things don’t seem the same.

When I visit ‘Okombo na Eti eti,’ you literally chant my nickname.

Sleep tight, mummy+m, I’m missing you terribly.

Aina’s name is Aina.

“I’m in love with you.”
