Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has issued a warning to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, stressing the necessity of a robust summer transfer window if the Red Devils aim to contend for the Premier League title next season.

Addressing Ratcliffe directly, Ten Hag stressed the importance of reinforcing key positions and bolstering squad depth to bridge the gap in performance.
Reports suggest Ratcliffe is eyeing Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise for a potential move to Old Trafford, while the club also seeks a new striker. Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and Ivan Toney from Brentford are among the names under consideration, with Toney seen not only as a reliable goal scorer but also as a potential leader within the United dressing room.
