Former Big Brother Naija Housemate Erica Nledwedim has been chastised by popular media figure Daddy Freeze for her clever response to a man who wants to take over his brother’s property.
In a post shared on Twitter, a Twitter user claimed that he has the right to inherit his siblings’ property after they die, and that this is in keeping with Igbo tradition.
He went on to say that a woman’s marriage to an Igbo man ends when her husband dies since she no longer has any ties to the late spouse’s family.

The post reads: I am an Igbo man and my omenala gives me full right over the property of my siblings when they’re no more. Reacting to the post, Erica, who hails from the eastern part of Nigeria, expressed surprise that people still have such mentality as she questioned what happened to the deceased’s wife and her children.
