Thomas Tuchel, the former manager of Chelsea, has spoken for the first time since being fired from his position.
After a 1-0 loss away to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League, the German coach was fired on Wednesday morning.
When Frank Lampard’s replacement, Thomas Tuchel, was named in January 2021, he led Chelsea to their second Champions League title in May of that same year.
With a victory over Palmeiras in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, he guided Chelsea to the Club World Cup, the one trophy that had eluded Abramovich during his 19-year tenure.
On Sunday, the German posted on Twitter about how upset he was to lose his job as the Blues manager.
Chelsea, according to Tuchel, is both his professional and personal home.

After contributed his fair share to the club’s history, he acknowledged that he is honored to depart.
“This is one of the hardest statements I have ever had to write – and it’s one that I hoped I would not have to do for many years,” he wrote in a tweet.
“I am heartbroken that my time at Chelsea is over.
“I felt both professionally and personally at home at this club.
“I want to express my gratitude to the entire staff, the players, and the fans for making me feel so welcome right away.
“I’ll never forget the pride and happiness I experienced when I contributed to the team’s victories in the Club World Cup and the Champions League.
“I consider it an honor to have contributed to the history of this club, and the last 19 months will always hold unique memories for me.
Graham Potter, a former coach of Brighton and Hove Albion, has been named as his successor.
