Erik ten Hag reportedly feels let down by Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, and Antony after his sacking by Manchester United, according to the UK Mirror.
The Dutch manager was dismissed on Monday morning following a 2-1 loss to West Ham, leaving United in 14th place with a -3 goal difference.
Although new minority shareholders Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS backed Ten Hag, the squad’s performance under him was consistently below expectations.

Sources suggest that Rashford, Casemiro, and Antony were particularly disappointing, contributing to the manager’s dismissal. Rashford, who has only scored once in the Premier League this season, failed to register a shot in his first three games. This is a significant drop from last season when he managed seven league goals and three assists.
Casemiroโs performance against Liverpool was notably poor, as he was responsible for two goals in the 3-0 defeat and was substituted at halftime for Manuel Ugarte.
Antony, who previously excelled under Ten Hag at Ajax and joined United for ยฃ86 million, has also struggled to make an impact, casting doubt on Ten Hag’s transfer choices.
Many now view the nearly ยฃ600 million spent on assembling Ten Hagโs ideal squad as wasted.
