Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has expressed admiration for Chelsea duo Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer, highlighting their talent.

Rudiger, a former Chelsea player, referred to Jackson and Palmer as “very good players” ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

“I always watch their games when I can, especially if I’m not playing myself. There’s a tremendous amount of talent there,” Rudiger told The Inside Scoop.

He continued, “I’m particularly pleased for Nicolas Jackson, as he’s finally starting to score goals. Overall, he is a fantastic player. He was just a bit unlucky with his finishing, but I’m confident he will improve because his overall game is very strong.”

Regarding Palmer, Rudiger said, “He really surprised me. You might think, ‘Oh, he was just surrounded by great players,’ but then you have to go to another club and prove it, and he has done that. Hats off to him because he’s a really exceptional player.”
