The complicated process that lead one of Europe’s most sought-after players to choose City was highlighted in the recent documentary Haaland: The Big Decision, which United supporters will not find amusing to see.

Seven clubs were in the running to sign Haaland from Borussia Dortmund at the end of February, but United — which had attempted and failed to sign the player two years prior — was not one of them.
A few months prior to opting to join the Premier League winners, Alfie stated in the video, which was just made available on the Scandinavian streaming service Viaplay, “On our list, I think City is the best team.”
