Manchester United legend Jaap Stam has criticized Marcus Rashford for hinting at his willingness to leave Old Trafford.
The former Red Devils defender accused Rashford of opting for the easy way out amid ongoing criticism of his performances. Rashford’s inconsistent form under various managers at the club has drawn heavy scrutiny from fans and pundits alike.

Speaking to Goal, Stam said:
“I think saying you want to leave is the easy way out because it’s been a tough period, and he’s faced a lot of criticism for his performances. But we haven’t seen enough fight on the pitch.
“If he had shown that, there would be a different attitude toward him and more credit given to him.
“Maybe it would be good for both him and the club if he moved on, but I would’ve liked to see him give everything for the club first.”
