Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that he would understand if the club decided to sack him amid their poor run of form.

City has managed just one win in their last 10 matches, including a 2-0 loss to Juventus on Wednesday. Guardiola’s side currently sits 22nd in the Champions League standings, five points away from an automatic qualification spot with two games remaining.

Since joining City in 2016, Guardiola has enjoyed immense success and has never faced such a severe slump in form. Remarkably, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has never been sacked in his managerial career.

Speaking to his former Brescia teammate Luca Toni on Prime Video Sport, Guardiola said:
“Could Man City send me home? If so, Iโ€™ll go home. What can you do in life? Life doesnโ€™t always go the way you want.”
