Liverpool manager Arne Slot has acknowledged the significant challenge posed by Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League title race.
Last weekend, Arsenal delivered an impressive 5-2 victory over West Ham, while Chelsea secured a dominant 3-0 win against Aston Villa. These results leave both London clubs nine points behind league leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, the Reds have extended their lead over defending champions Manchester City to 11 points.
Speaking about Liverpool’s position, Slot said: “It’s not unusual for us to be at the top of the Premier League or Champions League. This club, this team, and these players are accustomed to leading and competing for every trophy. They’ve been through this before.”

He added: “They also understand it’s a long season. To win the league against teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City—who I see as our main competitors—you need to maintain top performance levels over the course of 10 months.”
