Despite Liverpool’s persistent efforts, Manchester United’s resolute defense held firm throughout the game. Klopp remarked, “The decisiveness was not there today, not calm enough, too much of a rush. When it is that intense, making the right, calm decisions in the moment is another step.”
He further explained, “The way we played disorganised them a lot, but we did not see that. They just threw themselves at the ball. That means there is always a free player. We did not see that. That is why we drew the game,” reflecting on the missed opportunities and the need for more composed decision-making in crucial moments.
