Since Graham Potter, a former Brighton manager, took over when Thomas Tuchel was fired a few weeks ago, the 21-year-old might return to Stamford Bridge.

Hudson-Odoi acknowledged feeling upset by Tuchel’s lack of opportunities for him, and he thinks that this prevented him from making an impression.

“It was one of those challenging times where you look in the mirror and wonder, ‘What am I doing wrong?'” Has anything I’ve done to deserve to be left off the squad?'” Mirror was told by Hudson-Odoi.

One of those trying times when you look in the mirror and wonder, “What am I doing wrong?” Has anything I’ve done to deserve to be left off the squad?'” Mirror was told by Hudson-Odoi.

“I would never criticize Thomas; he was a decent man and a competent manager. But it was frustrating in the opening game of the year. Any football player who isn’t on the team will appreciate how annoying it is.

“Playing regular football helps you develop consistency, and as you play more games and become more reliable, your form begins to take hold.

“You feel better, more energized, and that you have the manager’s support to be pushed and propelled forward, not that you’re being treated fairly.

“You don’t want to be sitting on the sidelines wondering why you aren’t participating. When you finally play again after weeks and weeks of inactivity, your legs are rusty.

The key is playing consistently good football. I’m getting it here, and that helps me feel better.
