The 21-year-old has praised his overhead volley as one of his career’s greatest, but he still wants to score more.
Haaland responded to the topic of if he surprises himself with his goal-scoring prowess by saying, “It’s a good question, but I really don’t think too much about it.
I am currently only thinking about my match against Wolves on Saturday because that is how my thoughts must be right now.
“I must concentrate on the upcoming game and the appropriate things. I don’t believe it is a good thing if I think too much. It’s about putting the proper priorities first.
As always, it was simple for me to maintain my concentration. I don’t give a damn whether people think I don’t touch the ball enough or anything else. I am aware of both my upcoming plans and my responsibilities.
“That’s precisely what I did in a challenging match, and that’s exactly what I’ll continue to do. Five touches of the ball and five goals are my ultimate ambition. That is my greatest wish.
“Playing Dortmund was a fantastic match for me. It was emotional, and the coaches, staff, and everyone I know are great friends of mine.
“I needed to stay focused and prepared for the tasks I had against my old squad. Even if it’s just a football game in the end, it was nonetheless somewhat memorable for me.
“It was a beautiful game, but it was emotional. Although unusual, it was pleasant. It’s a fantastic club and everyone there will always have my undying affection. There, I had a nice time.
