Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has warned his players that they risk missing out on both the Premier League title and a top-four finish if they lack motivation this season.
City have dominated the English top flight, winning the last four titles, and are aiming for their seventh title in eight years. However, Guardiola stressed that they must remain focused and driven.

Ahead of Sunday’s match against Chelsea, Guardiola said, “Our job is to ensure we do the right things because that’s how you win and perform well. If you believe you’ve already achieved it and become complacent, you won’t win and won’t finish in the top four. Maintaining that level of intensity is always the goal at the start of the season.”
