Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted he is uncertain about how his team will perform against Liverpool next weekend.
The Premier League champions suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at home to Tottenham on Saturday, leaving them five points behind Liverpool.
The Reds could extend their lead to eight points if they secure a win against Southampton on Sunday, adding more pressure to the upcoming showdown at Anfield.

Speaking after the loss to Spurs, Guardiola said:
“We need to regroup and clear our minds. The season is long, and many things can still happen.
“Before todayโs game, I didnโt know what to expect, and the same applies to our match at Anfield. This situation is new for us, and everyone is aware of that.
“We struggled more without the ball today. Iโm not sure how many chances we created, but our approach to the game was there.”
