In spite of transfer rumors, Chelsea manager Graham Potter has stated that both Christian Pulisic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remain essential components of his plans at Stamford Bridge.

As the Blues struggle to finish the season in 10th place in the Premier League, both players have been linked with moves away.

This month, Manchester United has reportedly expressed interest in Pulisic once more, despite Juventus being rumored to be interested in the forward.

After injuring his knee in the league loss to Manchester City earlier this month, Pulisic now faces two months of recovery time.

Potter asserts that the club would have never considered allowing Pulisic depart this month even without the setback.

Potter said at a press conference before the league match against Crystal Palace on Sunday, “No chance.” “No, he won’t be out till after that, and leaving was never even an option.” He has been gone for a few months.

Although he is upset, he is hopeful that he will return sooner than two months. He is currently in the phase where he is crossing his fingers that his rehabilitation goes smoothly.

However, given that he has already played for two different teams this seasonโ€”Chelsea and Barcelonaโ€”options Aubameyang’s this month will be severely constrained.

The 33-year-old was humiliated by being forced off against City last week after coming on as an early substitute. He missed Sunday’s FA Cup match against the same opponents due to a back injury.

He is indeed present. He experienced a back issue following Manchester City. He missed the FA Cup match against Man City because of this. We basically went for Kai [against Fulham].

โ€˜Pierre is in our squad and he is crucial for us. I have a good feeling he can support us moving forward.
