EPL: Ferdinand calls on Arsenal to sign Osimhen in January

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has urged Arsenal to sign Victor Osimhen when the transfer window opens in January.

Arsenal’s struggle for goals up front has been evident this season, with the Gunners failing to score from open play in their last four matches.

Currently sitting third in the Premier League, behind Liverpool and Chelsea, Mikel Arteta’s side is in need of a boost. Ferdinand believes that bringing in Osimhen could be key to revitalizing their title challenge.

“You don’t have a number nine who’s coming on and impacting games,” Ferdinand told Football Transfers. “I don’t think you necessarily need to sign Osimhen, although I would. But you need to bring in someone who can come in and make an impact.”
