Ferran Soriano, the CEO of City, said the player wouldn’t depart, but Pep Guardiola recently said Silva will remain at the team.

The player has assured Barcelona radio station El Barca juego a RAC1 that he will stay a member of Man City before the transfer deadline.

“I’m remaining in Manchester; I’m pleased here, and the choice has been made,” Silva declared.
