Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid currently leads the La Liga standings with 78 points from 31 matches, while Barcelona trails by eight points in second place.

Araujo believes that securing a victory against Los Blancos would provide Barcelona with a glimmer of hope to contend for the La Liga title in the remaining matches.

“The Clasico holds significant importance for us in terms of redemption,” Araujo expressed (via Madrid Universal). “It’s a chance for us to vie for the league.”
