Music executive and ex-husband of superstar female singer Tiwa Savage, Teebillz, provoked outrage on social media for attributing Afrobeats success to his colleague Don Jazzy.
Teebillz claimed that without Don Jazzy, Afroats would not be a global pride, as he recounts how he and Don Jazzy discussed Afroabeats and how it eventually came to existence in a throwback photo on his Instagram page.

Many Nigerians were outraged by Teebillz’s statement, accusing him of being too talkative and spreading false information about the music industry.
