Simeone, who joined the club in December 2011, has now inked a new deal that binds him to Atletico until 2027. Throughout his tenure, Simeone has secured eight trophies, including two Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, two Europa League trophies, two European Super Cups, and one Spanish Super Cup. The team also reached the Champions League finals in 2014 and 2016. Overseeing 642 matches, Simeone boasts an impressive record of 380 victories, with a defeat rate of only 18 percent. As of now, Atletico Madrid holds the fourth position in the Liga table.
