Despite Parker’s noteworthy status as a former WBO World champion and Tyson Fury’s training partner in the heavyweight division, Wilder sees Joshua prevailing in their upcoming clash.
Anthony Joshua’s upcoming bout against Wallin marks his third fight following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2022. While still highly regarded in the heavyweight class, Joshua’s refined fighting style has garnered more attention than his previous knockout victories.
Acknowledging criticisms of being perceived as cautious, Joshua emphasizes that evolving into a more strategic fighter is the cornerstone of his new approach. However, Wilder, speaking in an interview with ES News, disagrees. The American boxer firmly believes that Wallin will not last more than eight rounds against Joshua, predicting a knockout victory for the British boxer. “Joshua. I think Joshua knocks him out. Six-to-eight rounds,” stated Deontay Wilder.
