According to reports, Timo Werner is about to return to RB Leipzig after the German club and Chelsea reached an agreement over a transfer fee.
According to Sky Germany, the 26-year-old is planning to make a return to Leipzig for just €30 million (£25.3 million), after leaving Leipzig for Stamford Bridge in 2020 for a fee of £47.5 million.

The Serie A powerhouse Juventus has also expressed interest in Werner this summer, but the German has decided to return to Leipzig.

Werner has been a challenge for Thomas Tuchel to maximize during his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea is on the verge of losing £22.2m on the guy who, when he first arrived in west London two years ago, was expected to cure their striker woes.
Werner, though, has mainly disappointed during his time at Chelsea, scoring just 10 league goals throughout his two full seasons with the team.
But in his first season with the Blues in 2020–21, he did capture the Champions League and scored in their victory against Real Madrid in the semi–final.
That was the striker’s best chance, though. Last season, he was positioned behind Kai Havertz and Romelu Lukaku in the starting lineup, earning just 15 top-flight appearances.
During his stay in England, Werner has had difficulty providing Chelsea with consistent performance.
Werner may have hoped for greater playing time this season after Lukaku returned to Inter Milan on loan earlier this summer, but it has not materialized.
His absence from the team entirely for the trip to Everton on Saturday served as an indication that his time at Stamford Bridge was up.
Werner will now try to recapture his best form at Leipzig, a team where he previously thrived.
In his first stint at Leipzig, he made 156 games and scored 90 goals, including 28 Bundesliga goals in his final season before moving to Chelsea.
