Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi and her best friend Laide Bakare have reconciled after battling for days over a colleague, Gida, who was rumored to be their sugar boy.

Laide Bakare, a Nollywood actress, responded by writing, “No matter what hatters say or do. Abi eleyi Fe Te ni ni ni ni ni ni ni ni ni ni ni ni Who are you? Miss Wereyy, #laidebakare is your forefather MOTHER, and I’m too Big for any kin foolishness. Who will you choose as your Twinee? In a statement posted to her Instagram page, Laide Bakare refuted rumors that she is battling with Kemi Afolabi, saying she would never go to the level of fighting over a man in the Nollywood industry.

According to Laide, she only encountered Gida a few times while working on film sets. She went on to say that the myths about women fighting for men are ludicrous.

The two Nollywood actors have finally made up, with Kemi Afolabi wishing Laide Bakare a happy new month on Instagram and stating that she is her best friend.

Happy new month, my lovely #twinnie @laidebakare and #KemiAfolabi fans all around the world, she wrote.

Laide Bakare responded to the post by expressing her admiration for Kemi Afolabi and claiming that she would never say anything negative about her.

She also advised their admirers to never believe hearsay unless it comes directly from the horse’s mouth, and to remember that people are evil.

Oremi Twinee mi, she wrote. You already know how much I adore you. This teaches a lesson to the guys. People are evil, and you should never listen to ORO EYIN. Unless it comes from the mouth of a horse. I have a lot of negative things to say about Anota Oluwakemi. #peacetotheworld
