No artist had congratulated Davido on his latest achievement or shared the news on their Instagram profiles, according to Davido.
Many expected Don Jazzy, 2baba, Tiwa Savage, and others to congratulate him on his victory, but they all avoided him.

When a Twitter user made the same point, Davido concurred, crying out.
Sonjoe Kutuh, a Twitter user with the name, noticed that no Nigerian musician has commented on Davido’s FIFA song.
He complained that if it was Wizkid, everyone would be bowing for me.
Davido replied him, “ME vs THE INDUSTRY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!”.
On his part, Basketmouth urged everyone to support each other in order to let peace reign in the industry.
Basketmouth whose real name is Bright Okpocha shared photos of himself and Davido and wrote, “In addition to his numerous achievements at such a young age, @davido has now single handedly carried Nigeria to the World Cup. That alone should be applauded. Regardless of any other situation. Nobody go die if we support everybody.”
