Leeds United was defeated 3-1 by Manchester City in today’s Premier League game. Manchester City was the dominant team throughout the match, with more possession, more passes, and more shots.
In the extra period of the first half, Rodri became the first to score by responding to a lost ball. After receiving a beautiful pass from Grealish in the 51st minute, Erling Haaland doubled the advantage for the visitors.
In the 64th, the Norwegian attacker scored again to extend City’s lead to three. Struijk, on the other side, scored a wonderful header for a consolation goal for Leeds right before the final siren. Manchester City earned three much-needed points as the game ended 3-1 in their favor.
With the win, City moved back up to second position in the standings, while Newcastle dropped to third. Arsenal currently leads the Premier League by a margin of five points.
