Manchester United were left frustrated after being held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace on Saturday, despite dominating large portions of the match.

The Red Devils delivered one of their best performances of the season in the first half and could have been comfortably ahead by halftime. However, Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson was outstanding, repeatedly denying United’s attempts on goal.

Match Summary:
United came close to scoring early, with Alejandro Garnacho getting a one-on-one chance after being played through by Joshua Zirkzee, but Henderson saved it. Henderson also made key saves from Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez as United piled on the pressure.

Bruno Fernandes and Garnacho both struck the woodwork in the first half, with United continuing to threaten but failing to capitalize. Zirkzee also missed a headed chance from a corner, while Fernandes’ dangerous low cross nearly led to a goal, but Palace’s defense held firm.

Despite United’s dominance, Palace had a golden opportunity late in the first half when Eze’s shot was comfortably saved by Andre Onana.

In the second half, Fernandes poked a shot wide before Henderson pulled off another brilliant save to stop Garnacho’s long-range effort. Onana was finally tested, making a stunning double save to deny Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr in quick succession.

Eze wasted another good chance for Palace on a rare counterattack, curling his shot wide. In the final stages, Palace grew into the game, while United lost some of their attacking sharpness, leading to a stalemate and a share of the points.
