Cross, the eldest child of his evangelist mother, claimed that she initially did not want him to participate in the reality show, but he had to break things down for her to understand.
In a Facebook live interview with PUNCH Online on Wednesday, the reality star revealed that his mother was unfamiliar with entertainment trends and that he had to persuade her before joining the show.

“My mother is a minister – an evangelist – and she wasn’t used to these social media and entertainment things, or even Big Brother” Cross added.
So I had to gradually explain what was going on to her, and she said it was fine.
“Last year, when I was on the verge of going in, she understood how disappointed I was when I didn’t. As a result, it was a little simpler to persuade her, particularly because of that.”
