The first controversy arose when the referee awarded a penalty to Real Madrid, penalizing Almeria’s Kaiky for a handball while overlooking a foul by Rudiger in the buildup to the penalty. Jude Bellingham confidently converted the penalty, bringing the score to 2-1.

A potential goal from Sergio Arribas for Almeria was disallowed due to a foul in the buildup. Real Madrid then equalized through a contentious goal by Vinicius, initially ruled out for handball but later awarded after the referee reviewed it on the pitchside monitor.

In the late stages of the game, Almeria’s coach, Gaizka Garitano, was sent off for dissent. Real Madrid secured all three points in the 99th minute when Dani Carvajal turned in Jude Bellingham’s cross, sparking wild celebrations among the Bernabeu supporters.

Jude Bellingham’s goal in this match marked his 14th in La Liga for Real Madrid, making him the highest-scoring English player in the league’s history.
