“Get your PVC, Vote for APC!!!” – Actress Dayo Amusa tells fans
Recall that Dayo Amusa, a Nigerian actress, posted a message on social media urging her followers to cast their ballots in the approaching elections.
She urged her supporters to register as voters and support the All Progressives Congress (APC) party by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
She wrote: “GET YOUR PVC!!! VOTE FOR APC!!!”
Her statement triggered a contentious debate on social media, with some of her followers supporting her and others criticizing her positions. She allegedly accepted money from the ruling party, according to some.
