Nollywood actress and producer Jaiye Kuti, also known as Jayeola Monje, has praised Funke Akindele, a senior colleague, for her outspoken endorsement of her.
Funke supported Jayeola on her Instagram page by promoting her latest film, Alagbede. The box office queen invited her admirers to attend the movie with her when she announced that she would be heading to the theater. She congratulated her and said her film was already doing well at the box office.

At the moment, Funke Akindele is the African box office movie queen. In just 21 days after its release, her final project, A Tr!be Called Judah, smashed box office records when it made its theatrical debut in December 2023. It was the first Nollywood movie to make N1 billion as a result.
The film’s performance exceeded that of the actress’s earlier productions, Battle on Buka Street (N668.4m) and Omo Ghetto (N636.1m), which are presently the third and second highest-grossing movies in Nigerian theaters, respectively.
At the celebration, she was given a brand-new automobile as a reward for her ground-breaking accomplishment.
She dedicated the Silverbird Lifetime Achievement Award, which she won last month, to her family, friends, and admirers.
