Honored Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, also referred to as AY, recently celebrated his 15-year wedding anniversary to his cherished wife Mabel Makun.
The comedian, reflecting on his 20 years of marriage to Mabel, turned to Instagram to thank her from the bottom of his heart.
The pair wed in November 2008, and Michelle, their first child, was born in 2009. Thirteen years following the family’s 2022 announcement of Ayomide’s arrival as their second child.
Celebrating their marital bliss, AY reflected on the ups and downs in his marriage as he shared throwback wedding photo, showing their growth.
He wrote, “It’s been 20 amazing years of knowing each other, 15 years of marital hustle and bustle, occasional sweetness and bitterness, pains, and gains.”
“We thank God for the unconditional love and grace that has kept us standing and counting all these years of celebration. In this our first 15-year anniversary. I wish us both more love, strength, patience, tolerance, and happiness to be able to celebrate many more 15-year anniversaries together. I LOVE YOU, @realmabelmakun”
