The National President, Ministers of God Prayer Network International, Bishop Bola Oyegbami has called on the Church not to relent in praying for Nigeria, assuring that the country will prosper again. She gave the admonition at the end of seven days prayer for peace in Nigeria which took place in Lagos where the Lagos State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman, Bishop Stephen Adegbite urged the Church for continuous prayer for peace and stability in Lagos State and Nigeria at large. Oyegbami hinged the just concluded seven days prayer and fasting on the need to allign the throne of the presidency with the throne of God to enable the government actualise its plans to take Nigeria out of the woods and move the nation forward.

The reality is that brain drain results from our talented young professionals leaving the nation to develop other nations.
The main goal of the seven days of prayer and fasting, according to her, is to ask God to evaluate the moral character of those in positions of authority in order to bring prosperity to our country. This is because spiritual victory must come before material victory.
Adegbite, who was represented at the ceremony by CAN Chairman, Ambassador Enoch Adesola of Ikeja South, encouraged Nigerians to always speak positively about their nation since any negative statement they make about it will come back to haunt them.
He counseled the government to foster an environment that is favorable for youth and to empower them in a way that will deter them from fleeing the nation.
He suggested that the government cease importing, pointing out that Nigeria possesses the resources to grow and generate the goods that the people require.
